Some people are very busy analysing the financial transfers between the north and the south of Belgium. Must be very exciting to them, I hope they enjoy it. But you know what I would like to see? A study showing the transfer of blood money from Congo to Belgium. And how that money was spread all across the economy and how it trickled down to benefit almost every single Belgian household, untill the late sixties, one way or the other. And how it is still circulating as capital in the Belgian economy today. Of course you can do the same for blood money from Indonesia or Suriname to the Netherlands. From Algeria and Cameroon to France, From India to Britain, From America and Australia to Europe. That is a transfer story I am interested in. And above all, this transfer story continues today in the form of exploitation and unfair "trade" and debts and their interests. You have your history and we have ours, you have your priorities and we have ours. Your little internal feuds among the privileged do not interest us. We are interested in how to bring your hegemony down.
